Site Challenges
The project required extensive coordination with Transport for London and multiple third-party stakeholders to ensure effective communication and seamless delivery at every stage of the scheme.
A comprehensive traffic management plan was implemented, incorporating clearly defined diversion routes to maintain the safe and efficient movement of vehicles, pedestrians, and public transport users throughout the site.
The carriageway works included a full plane off, regulation, and final surface course replacement, followed by the installation of new road markings to reflect the updated layout. Completing these operations within a live road environment presented significant logistical and safety challenges.

This project was a 7-year old, part complete, legacy Section 278 scheme that had come to a halt. Once we brought Vista on board, we were able to discharge an overdue bond and significantly reduce our liability for further damage repair. Vista successfully installed a compliant and safer road junction for pedestrians, cyclists, and vehicles.
What stood out most was the direct, hands-on approach from the Vista team. Their expertise and ability to take the hassle out of S278 legacy highway adoptions allowed me to focus on my core responsibilities, which was one of the key benefits of the service.
The quality of work was outstanding, with Vista solving any design or detail challenges that arose, without requiring my involvement.

Their ability to navigate the con-straints of the project ensured that the works were completed smoothly.
Throughout the project, the team maintained clear and open lines of communication. They were responsive to our questions and concerns and provided regular updates on the project's progress.
The completed highway works met our expectations in terms of functionality, safety, and durability. It's evident that Vista takes pride in their work and is committed to delivering projects that stand the test of time.
