Project Overview
This project involved the coordinated delivery of highway improvement works alongside a busy A-road, including the implementation of comprehensive traffic management measures to maintain safe and efficient movement of both vehicles and pedestrians throughout the duration of the works. The scheme included the removal of existing vehicle crossovers and reconstruction of the footway, installation of a new granite kerb and channel line with a stepped tie-in to the carriageway, and the laying of edging kerbs, flagged and block paving to clearly define the boundary between public and private areas along the building frontage.
